Nursing Admission Test

Students who want to enter HFC's Nursing Program must take the new online HESI Nursing Admission Test (NAT). This replaces the former Nursing Entrance Test (NET). To register, students must log into WebAdvisor and search the course catalog for "NAT 100." Testing is done at the new HFC School of Nursing's computer lab and is proctored by Lab facilitators. The HFC School of Nursing is located at 3601 Schaefer Road, Building B, Dearborn, MI 48126. For further information, call 313-845-6305.

The Learning Lab has a number of resources available for students to prepare for the Nursing Admission Test, which is the HESI - Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Exam.

  1. Tutoring in English and Math are available in the Learning Lab (check the Learning Lab for scheduled times: Tutor Schedules). These tutors can help direct you to handouts and resources in specific areas you need help. If you have already taken the exam and need assistance prior to retaking, please bring your remediation results from the previous test (see handout at bottom of page for instructions on how to obtain your test results). This allows the tutors to focus on areas that need attention.

  3. NAT Exams. Students are allowed two (2) attempts at passing the exam.
