Tutoring Services
Welcome to the Tutoring Services at Henry Ford Community College
Currently, tutoring services are housed in the Learning Lab located on the second floor of the Learning Resources Center. The Lab offers three levels of tutors: Faculty Tutors, Peer Tutors, and Volunteer Tutors. Faculty Tutors are full-time and part-time HFCC instructors who have dedicated time in the Learning Lab to offer one-on-one tutoring for students in the areas of English and Math. Peer Tutors are students who have not only earned excellent grades in the courses they tutor, but also have been highly recommended by the departments who are involved in recruiting, hiring, and training them. Volunteer Tutors are Honors Program students who have signed an agreement to earn community service credit by tutoring fellow students in the Lab.
